2016 Camaro named lowest 5-Year Cost to Own Sports Car

The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro was named the lowest 5-Year Cost to Own in Kbb.com sport car category. Fiscal responsibility is usually not the first term that comes to mind when thinking about buying a sports car, but stretching the dollars’ worth still matters.

Chevrolet Lays Out Upcoming Refreshed 2017 Trax Small SUV

Technology enhancements complement redesign for Chevy in competitive segment

At the recent Chicago Auto Show, Chevrolet unveiled its redesigned Trax for the 2017 model year. In what is quite possibly the most competitive automotive segment in America, Chevy puts its foot down to lay some “Trax” toward the future of small SUVs.

As the outgoing model was in the top three small SUVs globally, the new 2017 Trax will look to take that momentum and offer even more to the small SUV owners across the globe and especially near Knoxville, Tenn. Let’s start with what you see when you first approach the new Trax — the exterior.

New headlamps and an updated grille reflect the style of other such Chevrolet vehicles as the Malibu and Cruze. This helps give the Trax more of a Chevrolet identity and makes it even more of a part of the Chevrolet family.

The entire front fascia is new and features sleek headlamps and available halogen reflector headlamps. Chrome accents the outboard fog lamp bezels. Premier trims of the 2017 Trax are offered with 18-inch aluminum wheels.

The interior sees more premium enhancements. Featured is the new seven-inch MyLink color touchscreen. The instrument cluster has a new gauge display with prominent analog speedometer and tachometer readouts with digital displays.

“Customers will really notice the elevation in the Trax’s interior design and attention to detail,” Steve Kim, Trax’s designer, said. “It’s an environment that transcends segment boundaries, offering rich, premium appointments and seamless integration of the technologies they rely on most.”

The connectivity also sees an upgrade for 2017. The new Chevy Trax will be available with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. With this feature, you can use approved apps from your iPhone or Android through the 2017 Trax.

Other technology includes Keyless Open and Start and the Chevrolet mainstay 4G LTE Wi-Fi connectivity. These changes make for an exciting possibility that is the 2017 Trax. As a Knoxville Chevy dealer, West Chevrolet is ready for any new Chevrolet vehicle that comes along. Upcoming 2016 Chevy Cruze near Knoxville Redesigned Inside and Out

The redesigned 2016 Chevrolet Cruze should be hitting West Chevrolet’s Knoxville Chevy dealer by this spring, and the changes on the Cruz are for the better. Next-generation infotainment technology leads the charge along with a larger, lighter, more fuel efficient body.

Trims for the 2016 Cruze Limited will include L, LS, LT and Premier. However, an available RS package will also be available for the LT and Premier trims to give the 2016 Cruze a sportier look if the new Tennessee owner so desires.

Before we talk about the new available safety and technology features, let’s address the new design. This new Cruze is lighter and longer than the outgoing model, and that means some changes not only in size but in efficiency. With the new standard 1.4-liter turbo engine, the 2016 Cruze can collect up to 40 mpg on the highway — sounds like a great choice for a daily commuter to us at West Chevrolet!

Inside, the amount of soft-touch materials has increased, and matte finishes and polished aluminum throughout ups the quality of the 2016 Cruze. Premium fabrics and leather upholstery are available as well, and features such as heated seats and steering wheel add some comforts to the Cruze. More knee space has been added as well to create a more comfortable experience for back-seat passengers.

The technology sees an upgrade for 2016 Cruzes. The available MyLink system with an eight-inch touchscreen is just the tip of the iceberg. Available wireless smartphone charging and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration lets you utilize your smartphone in ways you never thought possible.

Of course, the 4G LTE Wi-Fi is back and makes the Cruze a mobile hot spot. Connect up to seven devices to the Internet at once with this available feature on Chevy Cruzes at West Chevrolet.

Stay tuned to our blog and follow us on social media to find out when the new 2016 Cruzes will hit our Alcoa Chevy dealer! They are currently slated for a spring 2016 release. 2017 Camaro 1LE Track Pack Could Debut At 2016 Chicago Auto Show

Driver-focused 1LE could enhance Camaro SS for 2017 model year Chevy muscle car

America’s favorite muscle car could see another enhancement this month at the 2016 Chicago Auto Show. Reports and rumors have been surfacing about Chevrolet revealing a more driver-focused edition of the Camaro SS this February.

In front of a crowd at one of the largest auto shows in the U.S., Chevrolet quite possibly could show off the 1LE Track Pack for the V8 Camaro in the next week or so. Very little official information has been revealed, so it is up to the Camaro fans near Knoxville to figure out what could be included.

A spy video has also been taken, which you can watch below.

This Track Pack will most likely be offered on the Camaro SS trims which feature the powerful V8 engine. From the spy video, it appears there may be a decklid spoiler, bigger six-piston front brake calipers and blade rear spoiler.

A package such as this could change the suspension, aerodynamics and braking power of the Camaro SS. The new performance package would be much more track-focused and give the Knoxville-area Camaro fans something else to ponder if they haven’t picked up a 2016 Camaro from West Chevrolet yet.

On a side note, Chevrolet may show a refreshed Trax update for the 2017 model year at the Chicago Auto Show as well.
