The 2018 Chevy Sonic was caught test driving in the wintery climes of Detroit, Michigan last month. The Sonic will be based on Gamma platform that will be shared with the all-electric Chevy Bolt. It has been suggested that a four-cylinder or a small turbocharged engine will replace the cars electric motor and massive battery pack. It is also possible that the engine could be three-cylinders.
It is apparent that progress of the 2018 Sonic is underway, and its arrival is highly anticipated. The Chevy Sonic has always been a customer favorite at Jim Butler Chevrolet.
