Introducing an all –new Class 4/5 commercial trucks!
At the Work Truck Show 2017 Chevrolet announced their all –new Class 4/5 commercial trucks will be powered by Duramax engine and Allison transmission. The legendary combination by Duramax and Allison has powered close to two million trucks. Chevrolet has confirmed they are on track to launch in 2018.
“Our goal is to offer the best work solutions and customer care in the business,” said Ed Peper, U.S. vice president, GM Fleet and Commercial Operations. “Our Low Cab Forward dealers and Upfitter Integration Group will work hand-in-hand with customers and their upfitters to spec the right truck for the job. After the sale, our dealers will be there to support customers with extended service hours and work-ready loaners.”
Allison Transmission has help drive Chevrolets heavy duty trucks since the 1950’s. The design in their transmissions are used in a variety of applications including construction, fire, distribution, defense and more! Duramax was introduced to Chevrolet trucks in 2001. They offer first-in-class technologies such as aluminum cylinder heads and quick-start systems, perfect for all our Knoxville commercial truck drivers.
