7- and
8-inch MyLink systems will support Android Auto starting March ’16 at West
Chevrolet
After an announcement
that Chevrolet will have smartphone integration for the 2016 model year, the
bowtie confirmed that Android Auto will be available for 2016 Chevrolets with
the eight-inch MyLink Infotainment System (some with the seven-inch screen).
Chevrolet
dealers can add the update to most new 2016 Chevrolets starting March 2016, and
West Chevrolet is your Android Auto update center for Knoxville Chevrolets. Chevrolet
is the first brand to offer both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for its models,
and the 14 models are more than any other brand.
What’s
interesting for Knoxville Chevy fans is the variety of vehicles that will have
the smartphone integration available. Whether you want the affordable Chevy Spark
or the high-performance Corvette Z06, you can get your 2016 model year Chevrolet
updated for Android Auto play this coming March.
The
smartphone integration is just another in a long line of technological
innovations that can be found on Chevrolet vehicles at West Chevrolet. From the
Siri Eyes Free function to the available 4G LTE Wi-Fi, Chevrolets are at the
forefront of vehicle technology.
