2023 Chevy Blazer Presides as the Attractive, Sporty, and Always-Enthused “Camaro of SUVs”

Here at West Chevy of Knoxville, we are already situated in our exciting year’s halfway point, which means that all the customers we love helping everyday so much are going to be asking about the incoming 2023 model year changes that are starting to take shape. The 2023 Chevy Blazer was just featured by the Motor Trend staff, who took a close look on their blog at some of the changes that are due for next year’s incoming model.

One of the most frequently talked about subjects over the past year is the coming of electrification, and we agree that every model is going to undergo changes that make them more efficient, earth-friendly, and all around useful on the daily drive. None of the notable changes being made for the 2023 models are including the addition of full electrification YET, but the 2024 Chevy Blazer SS EV will be revealed in July and continue on as somewhat of a separate namesake for the similar platform. The all-important powertrain under the hood of the 2023 Blazer begins with a turbo charged 2.0-inline 4 cylinder cranking out 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque which is standard on the 2lT, 3LT, and Premier.

There's also the presence of the more powerful 3.6-liter E6 pushing out 300 horsepower 270 lb-ft of torque which comes to end on the RS and is available as an option on the 3LT and Premier trims. Both engines are lethally paired up with 9-speed automatic transmissions and are virtually and dutifully on point for anything from shuttling the family on errands to taking off spontaneously for a trip to somewhere such as Cherokee Lake or Clinch River for weekend fun.

The front-end styling of the 2023 Chevy Blazer was reworked to put the visual focus on its subtly bold and flexed grille design, front fascia, LED headlamps, and LED daytime running lamps. These new LED tail lamps look very crisp and close to what infinity signs appear when lit up in contrast to the previous look that is a bit excitedly more like an airplane wing’s aerodynamic stance and stature. There is also now a 10.0-inch color touchscreen on all models that replaces the 8.0-inch, and wireless charging is now available as standard on the RS and Premier models.

Adaptive cruise control is available on every trim for the blazer, and the very translucent and surreal NightShift Blue interior color is now available for the RS trim. We had also virtually popped in on the Kelley Blue Book Internet page review for this year's Blazer, and they had loved the overall enjoyable driving experience, more powerful V6, and an incredibly user-friendly infotainment system. The industry is at a point where the midsize category is winning at the forefront, and the task of getting absolute joy from driving gets easier with well-equipped and feature-rich models such as the Blazer.
